Same error here. Tracker is recognized but does not stream data. Server error msg is the same as posted by Jeroen. EyeTribe UI reports:

No data is coming out of the device, direct show stream not running.

I'm using a LogiLink USB 3.0 Express Card Interface (PC0056) with Win7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit on a Dell Latitude E6420 laptop. Eye Tribe Tracker Server v0.9.41.

Has anyone else tried this Express Card adapter? Works fine with other devices.
Statistics: Posted by skatasven.fuchs@fkie.fraunhofer.de — 03 Dec 2014, 12:40

Hi Digo,

Not sure what to make of it, I've seen some issues on computers with old/weak USB 3.0 controllers (especially from NEC/Renesas) but then steaming becomes unreliable for all modes.

- Two days ago I had some issues on a Windows 7 with an ASUS motherboard, downloaded the latest drivers and it started working well.

- Do you have a shorted USB cable you could try with? I've noticed when the cable becomes too long +2M some controllers have issues (for example, when an external hub is used).

A question, does this happen all the time for the 60 fps mode? Instantaneously or after a while?
Statistics: Posted by skataMartin — 02 Dec 2014, 03:43

Hi,
I am having the same problem but only when setting the framerate to 60 (i.e. anything other than 30). I tried using the config file as described here and also the .bat version. Both procedures produce the message

Code:

[10:01:47.049] ERR: The Eye Tribe Tracker cannot stream data!
[10:01:46.042] INF: Accessing Tracker device
- Verify that the USB host is working properly, and
that the device is not already in use.

Setting the framerate back to 30 solves the problem. But using a monitor running at 60 I want to keep it symmetrical.
I am using the server software version 0.9.41 on windows 7 enterprise sp1. The tracker is model et1000 batch 2014-04
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Regards
Digo
Statistics: Posted by skatadchakrav — 26 Nov 2014, 12:19

Hi Jeroen,

Couple of quick questions to get me situated.

- Behavior is identical regardless of running Windows 7 or Windows 8?
- What is the brand/model of your system(s)?
- What version of our software are you using?
Statistics: Posted by skataMartin — 07 Nov 2014, 00:54

(my apologies for this very late response, I forgot to enable email notification)

The problem still occurs with the latest version of the server (Windows SDK v0.9.49). I have experienced this problem across multiple devices, including:
* A MS Surface Pro 3 (Intel Core i5-4300U)
* An ASUS K53SC laptop (windows 7)
* A desktop running Windows 8.1 with motherboard Asrock H61M/U3S3
Statistics: Posted by skatajeroen.thunnissen@gmail.com — 06 Nov 2014, 13:21
