The new Dell Venue 11 also has full windows 8.1 and a USB 3.0 port. I'll probably be getting one in a couple months or so, and I'll let folks know if it works. It comes in a couple different processor configurations, so it's likely at least one of them is fast enough.

The price is about $500 for the bay-trail version, but It remains to be seen if this is powerful enough to drive the eyetribe software.
Statistics: Posted by skatasjobeek@gmail.com — 17 Jan 2014, 03:03

andybonugli wrote:
I am a bit confused, are you saying only Surface Pro, or any tablet with a 3.0 USB ?

Surface Pro is the preferred Windows 8 tablet to use. It's powerful, has USB 3.0 and we're soon shipping a specially made mounting bracket for it. Plus that we have "verified" it (e.g. tested all our apps and have had it running many days doing demos around the world). But I see no reason it wouldn't work on similar tablets, as long as it has a fast processor, USB3.0 and runs the full Windows 8 (not the RT version).

A list of tablets and specs is available on Wikipedia.
Statistics: Posted by skataMartin — 16 Jan 2014, 01:40

The only tablet right now supported by the eye tribe is Microsoft Surface Pro.

Technically you can use any tablet that has 3.0 port and windows xp or later on it.
Statistics: Posted by skatanils.21 — 15 Jan 2014, 17:24
