Hi Sebastian,

There is no built in functionality to capture the screen. You will have to use 3rd party software or write your
own software that listens for gaze data and periodically grabs a screen-shot, draws the gaze point and adds it to a video file. The maximum framerate you can reach depends on the size of the screen and the speed of the computer, something like 15-20fps ought to be feasible.
Statistics: Posted by skataMartin — 15 Jul 2014, 20:52

Hi

I've searched the forum and also the documentation, but I couldn't find an explanation. Is it possible to capture the computer screen with gaze information? Basically, I want to record a screencast with the information where the user is looking at. Is this possible?

Best regards
Sebastian
Statistics: Posted by skatasmueller@ifi.uzh.ch — 15 Jul 2014, 15:54
