Hi Alberto,

Can you please confirm that you problem still persists with the release candidate 0.9.39
If not, can I please have you to test and answer the following:

Are you admin of your computer

Open Programs and Features and filter for EyeTribe. What do you see?

Do you run any virus protection software? I it might have some heuristic-detection blocking that prevents the software from being installed. Try to disable your AV software and install.

Check the "Uninstall" registry key to see if there are Bundles (Eye Tribe SDK) in there that are not cleaned up properly.

Copy in The SDK to your desktop and start the installer from there.

We also tried to run the setup in compatibility mode (both win7 and win8) with no success.

Thanks Martin, worked like a charm. Btw, this was not an issue on another computer, which had visual studio and all kinds of dev software installed, which probably enabled the older .net frameworks.

Microsoft requires you to manually activate .Net 3.5 on Windows 8 as described in their help-section.

Hey guys,

I just received my device, but my excitement was quickly over, as the SDK would fail to install, saying I need to have .NET framework 3.5 installed.

I am running Windows 8.1 x64, which has .NET 4.5 built in AFAIK.

Any advice ?
