Differences between tracking states LOST and FAILED

Postby Marwin » 28 Feb 2015, 12:27

Hi,

I would like to understand better the difference between the states FAILED and LOST. The documentation states that FAILED means that the "Tracker failed to track anything in this frame." and LOST that the "Tracker has failed to detect anything and tracking is now lost." - without stating what lost means or for how long.
From how I see the behavior, I have the feeling if the tracker does not detect anything in a frame it is FAILED and if that happens for some time the state is changed to LOST. If that is so - what is the threshold until it is considered LOST.

Thank you.

Loss means you cant even calibrate, and failed means the server initiated successfully and loose connection after some time
