USB OTG Versus USB Host (for Embedded Linux Experimentation)

I am considering biosensor development with a Linux/Android Embedded System the PCduino which in its latest incarnation the PCduino 8 includes a USB OTG Port 3.0 but no USB Host 3.0. Will this interface with the EYETRIBE sensor. What issues might I anticipate?
