Cannot stream data – verify that the USB host is working properly
When I turned on my computer, the system tray said “USB device not recognized”.
In the previous couple times that it said “USB device not recognized”, the Eye Tribe Server said “ERR: The Eye Tribe Tracker must be connected to a USB 3 host!”.
I’m getting a new error message this time: “ERR: The Eye Tribe Tracker cannot stream data! – Verify that the USB host is working properly, and that the device is not already in use.”.
I tried the following suggestion from a previous 03 Jun 2014 thread about the “must be connected to a USB 3 host” error: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=221
It started working again after uninstalling in the Device Manager, restarting the computer (necessary?), unplugging, and then reconnecting the device.
