Dynamic keyboard and Eyetracker

Postby niflheim123 » 26 Feb 2014, 00:26

Hy,
wanted to share a software I found that can be used with the eye tracker:
http://www.canassist.ca/EN/main/program ... l?sredir=1
It can help people with disabilities that cannot move or speak by providing a keyboard and some utilities that can be used for communication.
Have a nice day. :)

The problem (for me) so far with all the mentioned software is that I don't understand how to (si,e)mulate a mouse click using TheEyeTribe. At least with their UI I haven't been able to perform a "click". So none of the mentioned sw works unless I also use finger for actual clicking, which defeats the point completely.

In regards to mouse control,

We made a piece of software a couple years back called "Gaze Mouse" which allows you to do left-right-double clicks and select different activation techniques (dwell, continues and two-step zoom)

You can download the software for free but note that this, for the time being, is unsupported by The Eye Tribe. Remember that the mouse redirect has to be activated in the UI.

Hi guys,
why can't we use just an eye blink as a selection when we were using Aac in scanning mode?
