Yes, I am running Windows 8.1 Pro(64) on a Retina MacBook Pro.
I'm running Windows via Parallels, however -- not Bootcamp -- so I'll have to figure out where to get those drivers.

The Server claims that my EyeTribe firmware is out-of-date. Is this a false side-effect of having the wrong USB drivers?

Hi Martin and team,

Seems I'm encountering the same issues others are reporting. My log shows the same crash after 'Starting Direct Show device'

Any chance the fix for this will be released soon? Or I could get the pre-release version PM'ed to me? Thanks! I'm running on a standard win7 machine, reinstalled my USB 3.0 drivers as well.

Hi Golan,

Not entirely sure about the compatibility when accessing the device through a virtual machine. I know it is possible because I've seen a Youtube video doing so. The firmware out-of-date message is a side effect of not being able to fully read out the device properties.

Hi Weibel,

I've sent you a download link for the release candidate for 0.9.39, not sure if it will fix the issue you have but worth a try.

The next release has been delayed slightly due to the summer holidays. It contains a few bug fixes that I am eager to get out so it is first priority once we resume full operation again.

Martin, it seems whatever changes and bugfixes were incorporated into version 0.9.39 did the trick as I can now run the server without crashing and actually get data from the sensor now.
