FYI here's my output from the excellent USB Device Tree Viewer.
It seems the main difference between ours is that the device enumerates on a USB 3.0 port on my system where it for some reason is connected/enumerated to a USB2.0 port on your Intel 3400 USB2.0 chipset (it ought to be connected to the NEC USB 3.0 controller). I assume you have tried all the USB ports on your system by now?
