Hi,

sorry to revive this thread, but I am encountering exactly the same troubles on my Gigabyte P34G v2 with Win 8.1. The tracker does not seem to register that it is connected to a usb3.0 port. I un- and reinstalled the Intel/MS usb 3.0 host driver, un- and reinstalled the eye tribe drivers/sw and I got the tracker connected to the usb 3.0 ports on the laptop. USB3.0 seems to be working fine with usb3.0 flash drives and doesn't throw any errors there.

Any ideas?
