Can there be some way of getting a camera frame

It would be really useful for setup to be able to see what the camera can see. I have no idea what the field of view is or if my background is full of feature rich objects that will increase the tracking overhead. Thoughts?

I second that!! Would be valuable for lot's of reasons to be able to get the video stream. Most commercial eyetrackers do provide this functionality naturally.

I know what you mean, it can be beneficial in some cases but current API not designed to transfer images. Not sure if it ever will, it has low priority compared to improving performance, accuracy and robustness of gaze estimation.
