Getting old eyetribe device working

Postby apolon » 26 Feb 2015, 08:21

Hi,

I bought an eye tribe a long time ago, but didn't end up unboxing it to experiment until recently. The firmware version is 203. How do I upgrade to the latest firmware?

I've tried with the latest SDK version and its inconsistent as to whether it gets power or sees the device. Sometimes it also says the its connected via USB 2 when it is a USB 3 port. Should I try an older SDK version or just get the latest firmware installed?

The PC has an ASRock motherboard with a Intel c610 x99 chipset.

Regards,
Apolon.

Hi Apolon,

Never heard about issues on the x99 platform before, I'm on the Asus X99-S and it runs flawlessly out of the box on Win 8.1 64bit.

- If you are on Win7 make sure that the drivers for the USB3.0 controller.
- I've sent you a PM with the beta-version of the firmware updater.
