Pupil dilation tracking

Hi,

I'd like to ask whether you're eyetracking device also has the capability to track pupil dilation along with gaze position.
Thanks!

"You’re in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, it’s crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can’t, not without your help. But you’re not helping. Why is that?"

Hi seanm,

The output includes pupil size for each eye, currently this is in a relative unit which has to be calibrated to millimeters manually.

Sean,
What kind of app are you targeting? I'm trying some stuff with pupil dilation as well to detect ambient light and other parameters for an application.

Hi,
I am curently working on a pupil dilatation application, and I would like to know how to convert the pupil size output in milimeters.
Can anyone give any details about this relative unit please?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

I would also like to have access to the left and right pupil diameter values. At least tell us how to derive them using existing data points.

At this point The Eye Tribe Tracker API provides a measurement of the pupil size for both eyes in arbitrary units. Therefore, it is only relevant as a relative measurement. However, we are planning to provide the physical pupil size in millimeters in a future software update. Stay tuned...
