TET overheating

Postby joaquin » 05 Feb 2015, 20:00

Testing the TET I found that it gets really hot. It is normal? Which range of operation temperature the TET stands up?

Normal to get warm but never hot or burning.

Some air circulating the device is expected as it dissipates through the CNC aluminium case.

Should handle 70c but never seen it that hot, all PCB is tested in heat cabinets.

Some Macbooks have the fan vent at the inner base of the display, just where one would place the device.. might be pushing it.
