I am interested in ordering an EyeTribe. I have to select Windows or Mac OS X SDK on the ordering page. Is the hardware different? I'd like to experiment on both platforms. Can I do that? (i.e. select OS X and also use the Windows SDK or the other way around.)
Thanks

From their Facebook a while back:

The Eye Tribe
The hardware device is the same, but OS X won't be available until April. However, you will be able to download both versions.

Slight delay on the OsX version, hope we can pass internal testing soon. Once the it is ready there will be a download link on the My Account page.

 I find it a little disingenuous that the splash page advertises "Second batch shipping now! Order now for both OS X and Windows".

I know how hard roll-outs can be but I think many people would appreciate it if you guys could give us regular, realistic updates on when to expect an OS X SDK.

Thanks

Well, they’re still only 15 people. Some other eye tracking companies have 400 employees.

Nuance has 6000 employees, and they still won’t bring Dragon NaturallySpeaking to Linux.

I’m surprised that Eye Tribe even has Linux in their plans.
