[Resolved] Avira detects trojan in EyeTribe.exe

Postby alina » 12 Dec 2014, 11:23

hey,

after updating today, avira antivirus software started reporting the EyeTribe.exe as containing the trojan TR/Crypt.Xpack.115015. I'm pretty sure that it's just a false positive, but I thought you might want to know about it.

best,
Alina

Hi Alina,

Yes, that is a false positive. We had another issue with another anti-virus software some time ago, added signing to the executable and then it went away. Now Avira seems to hit something. I did a check with Metascan and it was flagged by 1 of 42 engines (results). I'll see what we can do, either modifying the package to pass or communicating with Avira.
